Donna Reinhart

Donna ReinhartDonna Reinhart went to be with Jesus on December 5, 2021 she was 92 Donna was born in Blockton Iowa and moved to Washington state at 12 years of age she was a proud daughter of a fruit picker.

Donna met the love of her life Kenneth Reinhart in 1945, and married three months later. They lived in Portland, Oregon, China Lake, California, and Norfork, Virginia while Ken served in the Navy.

Ken and Donna were married 69 years until his death in 2014. Donna was preceded in death by her parents, six of her siblings, husband Ken, Son Ken Junior and son-in-law Ron Pettit.

Donna is survived by her daughter Donna Pettit, sister Karen McCoy, grandchildren, Bill Reinhardt Brian Pettit, Karen Smith (Bob), Mike Reinhardt (Jenny), Leah Stahl (Randy), Joshua Reinhardt (Ashley); seven great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.

Donna was a stay at home mom until her kids were teenagers. She worked as a sales associate/ manager for Mary Sue’s Dress Shop and Dodies Bridal Shop. She was a devoted Christian woman, a minister‘s wife in Mammoth Lakes, California and Inyokern Baptist Church. She taught Sunday School for many years. She loved all of her seniors adult ladies in her class at Immanuel Baptist Church. She had a wonderful gift of hospitality. Donna was blessed with a beautiful singing voice and love to sing in the church choir. In her younger years, she sand and acted in community theaters, including the lead in “Carmen.”

Donna was a very involved mother and grandmother. She had a very soft spot for her handicapped grandson Brian and her former daughter-in-law Sharon. She had many wonderful friends.

Special thanks to the staff of Bella Sera where she spent the last three and a half years. They were kind and respectful.

A memorial service was held December 8 at Immanuel Ministry Center officiated by Pastor Bill Logan.
