Who’s Who production opens Nov. 5th

Master Mystery Productions Daniel Stallings–From the producers of Close Encounters of the Hairy Kind, Master Mystery Productions returns to live performing and joins forces with Red Rock Books in our family-friendly twenty-eighth production, “Who’s Who?,” an interactive come-as-you’re-not costume party caper written and directed by Daniel Stallings. Inspired by classic comedic heist and caper films like The Great Muppet Caper, the play tells the tale of wealthy and eccentric Great-great Aunt Gladys Honeypot who has finally moved on to a better place...to Las Vegas where she can live it up in her golden years!

Aunt Gladys was famous for her unusual tricks, pranks, and behavior. Like the legend of her giving a priceless treasure to her favorite bookstore as “a token of her boundless appreciation”...which then turns several not-so-honest eyes on the bookstore as a target.

When the store hosts a special “Who’s Who Come-as-You’re-Not Costume Party,” a ragtag collection of people decide it’s the perfect occasion to come as they’re not to liberate the store of this priceless treasure. But in a world where nothing is as it seems and no one is who they say they are, finding the treasure will be one wild, madcap adventure. Alliances will be made and broken, and someone might just double-cross the double-crossers.

Who are these people? Where is the treasure hidden? And just what is the treasure? These are the mysteries you get to solve as you tangle with screwball secrets, slapstick suspects, and hilarious hijinks, because in this costume party caper, everyone has something to hide. Starring Calvin Johnson, Olivia Holm, Beth Sparks-Jacques, Janis Kunz, Martin Murphy, Leslie Blake, and Allison Mitchell, the show encourages patrons to show up in costume and join in the fun trying to find the Honeypot Treasure. “Who’s Who?” performs are Friday, Nov. 5, Saturday, Nov. 6, Friday, Nov.12, and Saturday, Nov. 13 at 7:30 p.m. at Red Rock Books (206 W. Ridgecrest Blvd.). Doors open at 7 p.m. Tickets are $20 general admission, $15 military and seniors 65+, $10 kids ages 10 and under, available at Red Rock Books.
