John Wayne Price

John Wayne PriceJohn Wayne Price passed away unexpectedly August 31st 2021 in his hometown of Ridgecrest, Ca at the age of 59. John brought his light into the world August 5th 1962 in the small town of Madera, Ca. He immediately became the most beloved son to Christine and Wayne Price. From the moment he entered this world he brought so much joy and love to every person he met. He was joined by his little sister Kim 4 years later. John lived a life of unimaginable adventures, laughs, successes and he loved and was loved beyond measure. It has been said before, of others, that a person had a great impact on their lives, but for John more truer words have never been spoken! He had a way of making you feel like you were the most important person in the room. John used that connection with people to become a Cosmetologist extraordinaire! With a career spanning 30+ years, his pride and joy was his salon, Hair Friends, in San Carlos, Ca. To describe his career as eventful does not even scratch the surface. In his time, John worked for Paul Mitchel and Redken and was a top notch educator. There are no earthly words to describe the profound loss for ALL the people who knew and loved John, but the good Lord decided he needed him more than we did.

John was proceeded in death by his most cherished human, his mother Christine, father Wayne, and Aunt Sharlotte. John is survived by his one and only sister Kim and her husband Aaron, his niece Catherine and her husband Joel, great nephews Xander and Tyson, niece Jessica, and nephew Christopher and his wife Amanda. John had SO many beloved friends. They became his extended family. There are too many to name them all but Pam Zurn, Deron Giuliani, Judy Catlin, Eric Catlin, Alfredo Santana and Charles Sterck were some of the most impactful.
