Kathryn Jean SchimpfIt is with great sadness that the family of Kathryn Jean Schimpf announces that she has gone home to be with the Lord.

Kathy was born in Shabbat Sheboygan Wisconsin on 9/8 1953. She moved to California in 1972 and made it her home. She became a mother in 1981 and 1984 with the birth of her daughters Sarah Elizabeth and Krystal Michelle who then became to her world. Deciding to pursue her education she attended Cerro coso , and then got her Master’s Degree and graduated summa cum laude on the national Dean’s List from CSUB.

She immersed herself fully into college life by joining the choir and drama clubs. She was The matriarch and heart of her family whom she loved fiercely. She loved animals and sometimes cared more for them than for herself!

She loved ice cream, food in general, and the Lakers but mostly her family and the Lord. She would give you the shirt off her back or her last dollar. She was silly goofy and adored music. Sometimes she would sing instead of talking.

She loved making up songs usually about her family or dogs. She had the voice of an Angel and won many awards for it. Even though her song has ended her Melody lingers on.

In celebration of the beautiful person that she was her family would like you to join them in celebrating her life. Funeral services will be held on August 7th at 11 a.m. at the RCA church at 800 West up John. A celebration of her life will follow at the Rodeway Inn at 1050 North Norma Ridgecrest, ca.
