Cecil Loyd Breeden

Cecil Loyd BreedenCecil Loyd Breeden went home to Jesus on Jan. 21, 2021. He passed away peacefully at his home in Ridgecrest with his children and grandchildren at his side.

He was born in Grottoes, Virginia in 1935. His father, mother and brother, predeceased him and leaves behind his much-loved sister, Jean (Jack) Chandler of Virginia. His ex-wife Caralee Smith predeceased him also.

He moved to Ridgecrest in 1964 and worked at many grocery stores all over the Valley, Shopping Bag, K & R Market, Victory Market, Inyokern Market and Coso General Store. He was a proud member of the Eagles and Moose Lodges.

He is survived by daughter Sandra (Scott) Schafer and two sons Michael and Jeff all of Ridgecrest and as well as his loved daughter Susie (Brian)‚ of Reno, Nev.

He has eight grandchildren, Deann McClellan, Vanessa Raynor, Lexie (Erik) Faust, Brandon (Shanna) Cracraft, Kayla (Jordan) Watkins, Brianna and Jessica Snell. He leaves behind ten great and ten great-great grandchildren all of whom he dearly loved.

He believed in Christ Jesus as Lord and attended Crossroads Community Church. He loved playing cards, bowling, darts, and most of all fishing with his many fishing buddies most all asking to remain nameless due to too many fishing and golfing tales too tall to tell.

Due to Covid there was no public services but a private get together will be arranged in the summer so all may join and share so many Cecil stories.
