RRH offers new payment options

RRH offers new payment optionsRIDGECREST REGIONAL HOSPITAL — Ridgecrest Regional Hospital has partnered with CarePayment, a leading patient financial engagement company, to reduce the toll of rising out-of-pocket healthcare costs on its patients. CarePayment offers flexible and easy to understand, 0-percent APR payment programs that have low monthly payments and no risk to a patient’s credit score. CarePayment is currently available to patients with hospital billing accounts, and will be made available to those with clinic billing accounts by early November, 2020.

“At Ridgecrest, we are committed to improving the health of our community and supporting the people in it. In this historic time of uncertainty as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, we want our patients to know that it is clinically and financially safe for them to receive the care they need, when they need it, and they should not delay care due to concerns about high out of pocket costs”, said Kanner Tillman, CFO of Ridgecrest Regional. “By partnering with CarePayment, we are now able to offer our patients greater flexibility to manage their medical expenses, and ultimately improve their health.”

CarePayment partners with healthcare providers to offer affordable financing programs that allow patients to pay their medical expenses over time, always at 0-percent APR, and no credit bureau reporting. Patients can join the CarePayment program anytime they find themselves in need of extended payment options - before, during, or even after their clinical encounter is complete and their bills are past due.

“CarePayment is honored to partner with Ridgecrest Regional Hospital as they strive to improve the quality of life for its patients by helping to reduce the burden of out-of-pocket healthcare costs,” said Craig Hodges, chief executive officer of CarePayment. “It’s imperative that we provide people with easier options to pay for their care, so patients aren’t jeopardizing their health and delaying care due to rising costs. We are proud to offer a solution that is both beneficial to patients and providers and is easy to understand.”
