‘Intersteller’ drive-in slated

‘Intersteller’ drive-in slatedThe Student Government of Cerro Coso Community College will host a drive-in movie screening of “Interstellar” on Friday, Oct. 16, at 6:45 p.m. in the main parking lot.

The 2014 science-fiction film, directed, co-written and produced by Christopher Nolan, stars Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Bill Irwin, Ellen Burstyn, John Lithgow, Matt Damon, and Michael Caine.

The story, set in a dystopian future where humanity is struggling to survive, follows a group of astronauts who travel through a wormhole near Saturn in search of a new home for mankind.

The screening is free and open to the public.

All public health and safety protocols from the CDC, state, county and city apply.
