David C. Allen

David C. AllenDavid Christopher Allen was born Nov. 16, 1964, to Anna Greta and Morris Allen in Tacoma, Wash. He departed this life on Aug. 13, 2020, in Mojave.

David grew up in Vallejo. He moved at age 26 to Ridgecrest, where he met his wife Rhonda Brantner. They married in 1991. Chloé Nicolette was born in 1992.

Anyone who knew David would say he loved life to the fullest, didn’t know a stranger and would be the first to offer a helping hand.

He enjoyed many hobbies from fishing and boating — was proud of his membership in Weber Point Yacht Club —building bikes, racing his Harley with his hair blowing in the wind, his “early” morning texting and calling will be missed. PaPa loves you Chloé, but most of all just being with the love and joy of his life Rhonda and Chloé.

David was a man of many trades (he could fix anything). He was a journeyman electrician but was employed a contractor by Saalex for the last 12 years. He also found time to build and help Rhonda with Curl Up ’n’ Dye salon for the last 20 years.

David is survived by his wife, Rhonda of Ridgecrest; daughter, Chloé of Huntington; mother, Anna Greta of Ridgecrest; step-parents Coleen & Howard of Vallejo; mother- and father-in-law, Jerry and Linda Brantner of Ridgecrest; siblings Greg Allen and Shelly of Ridgecrest, Christina Lovern of Ridgecrest, Amy Ramirez & Benny of Vallejo, Judy Peach of Benicia and Doug Peach of Texas; and a host of nieces & nephews.

David was preceded by his father Morris Allen, brother Edward Allen and brother-in-law Steve Lovern.

Rhonda and Chloé will always treasure the love and tender heart that David had.

Into paradise … PaPa … May the angels lead you. You will be missed until we meet again.
