EKCRCD holds modified meeting

The Eastern Kern County Resource Conservation District has modified participation for its Aug. 11 meeting, and will maintain COVID-19 restrictions as long as they last.

The regular meetings will be on the second Tuesday of each month at the Ridgecrest Field Office for the Bureau of Land Management. At 9:00 AM an EKCRCD staff member will open the door for attendees, who must maintain six feet of distance at all times. Masks must be worn by those who cannot maintain distance. Meetings will begin at 9:10 a.m.

If you plan to attend the meeting in person, email ekcrcd@gmail.com at least 24 hours in advance.

Remote attendance options are available but your normal phone and Internet rates will apply. Please see the agendas for specific dial-in and/or log-in options. The agendas are posted on EKCRCD’s website, www.ekcrcd.org, 72 hours in advance of each regular meeting and 24 hours in advance of each special meeting.

COVID-19 restrictions have also prompted EKCRCD to modify regular office hours. A staffer will be on hand at the BLM office from 8:30 a.m. to noon on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays and will telework those hours on Monday and Thursday.
