Cody W. Vail

Cody W. VailCody Vail of Ridgecrest returned to his heavenly father on July 18, 2020, in Bakersfield. He was 30.

Cody was born May 21, 1990, in Lancaster. He graduated from Burroughs high school in 2009. Cody had a passion for motorcycles and big trucks. Cody studied and worked hard and got his class A license. He traveled across the country for a short time with his uncle Will driving trucks until he got a job with Golden Queen mining company to drive even bigger trucks. He was so excited to learn to operate the different types of equipment — haul truck, loader, water truck and shovel.

The most exciting moment for Cody was when he purchased his Harley Davidson, he was a natural on a bike. He rode his motorcycle to Huntington Beach and up the coast to Oregon. Cody was a very kind and loving person to anyone he encountered. He would give everything he had to anyone who needed it. Cody is loved by so many and will be missed immensely. Cody may you Rest In Peace.

Cody is survived by his mother Billie Bruno, step father Dale Bruno, father Ronald Vail, brother Matt Bird, step brother Alex Bruno, sister Brittany Vail, niece Aydan Bird, nephew Owen Bird, great grandmother Ruth Enriquez, grandmothers Connie Ramos, Toni Nichols, grandfathers Bill Ramos, Pat Nichols, aunts Toni Pineda, Ruth Pattison, Michelle Hoving, Morningstar Taggart, Moonshadow Taggart, Tanith Ramos, Dianna Bird, Amber Graham, uncle William Ramos and many more beloved aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Cody is preceded in death by his grandfather Ronald Graham, uncle Aaron Graham and cousin Christopher Walston.

Due to COVID 19 the family will have a private funeral service and plan for a memorial celebration at a later date. Thank you for your understanding.
