Jimmy Carl Haynes

Jimmy Carl Haynes passed away unexpectedly from a stroke in Ridgecrest, Calif., on Thursday, June 11, 2020 at the age of 61. He was born March 18, 1959 in Hemet, Calif., the son of Bob C. Haynes and Mary Louise (Edwards) Haynes.

He graduated from Sherman E. Burroughs High School in 1977 and attended Chaffey College in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. Jimmy traveled around Southern California where he started his career in construction and he most notably enjoyed his time in San Diego. Jimmy returned to Ridgecrest in 1989 and continued in the construction industry for 40 plus years. In 1994 he and Kim C. Hansing welcomed his only daughter, Sierra G. Haynes into the world.

Jimmy was instantly friends with everyone he met. He will be remembered as having a huge heart and for his ability to always bring a laugh and smile to everyone around him. He had a fun and loving personality that will be deeply missed by all of his family and friends. He loved animals and children and was affectionately known as everybody’s “Uncle Jimmy”.

He is survived by his mother, Mary Louise (Edwards) and Braun R. Tague; daughter, Sierra G. Haynes; step-son, Michael A. Ramirez Jr.; grandson, Michael A. Ramirez III and siblings Kristine Y. White and husband Rick, Bobby D. Haynes, Timothy W. Haynes, Michael R. Tague and wife Jaimie; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father Bob C. Haynes.

The family will be having a private celebration of life due to COVID-19.
