With approval from the governor and county last week, restaurants in the Indian Wells Valley began reopening their dining rooms late last week. Many restaurants remain open only for curb-side pick-up and delivery.Those that have opened have implemented guidelines from the governor’s office — which include social distancing measures and enhanced sanitization protocols. Some restaurants, including Casey’s and Triple T’s, are reportedly not planning to reopen. Others, including Golden Dragon, reopened the dining room but closed again based on customer response. The levels of service at local restaurants changes by the day. Ridgecrest Chamber of Commerce is in the process of compiling a list of which restaurants are open to seating, pick-up and delivery.
