‘Mask-maker, mask-maker make me a mask!’

‘Mask-maker, mask-maker make me a mask!’With increasing recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control — and requirements from many local establishments now making cloth face coverings mandatory — the demand for masks has increased as availability continues to decrease. Local seamstresses have risen to the challenge, offering face masks in a variety of colors and styles for local use. Memory Lane Fabric and Quilts, owned by Linda and Bob Voigt, are offering 25 pieces of fabric to anyone making masks. The Ridgecrest Chamber of Commerce is in the process of compiling a list of mask-makers, along with any associated costs for purchasing, that will be made to the public soon. To reach Memory Lane call 805-654-2592. To reach the chamber call 760-375-8331.
