John H. Walker

John H Walker, 1933-2020, was a Navy Veteran and worked as an electronic engineer for several aerospace companies before his retirement.

He worked on the B-29 restoration project at China Lake. He had many hobbies he was passionate about including travel, photography and genealogy. He lived a life close to God and was a long standing member of Grace Lutheran Church.

John is survived by his wife of 65 years, Charlene; sons, Jerry and wife Lola of Gardnerville, Nev., Dale of Lompac, and Don and wife Judy of Greer S.C.; daughter, Cheri Rickets and husband Greg of Ridgecrest; 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Margaret (Peggy) Archuleta of Meridian, Idaho, and Ruth Neiman of San Jose; as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, John and mother Mildred. John will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 20, at 11 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church.
