Cerro Coso hosts ‘Spring Fling’

Cerro Coso Community College students will present their annual “Spring Fling” Saturday, March 14, at the track and field.

The day will kick off with the Coyotes facing the Barstow Vikings at 1 p.m. in the Dawg Yard. Other activities, including bubble soccer, ultimate frisbee, water balloon fights, corn hole, spike ball and more, will begin at 3 p.m.

“The Spring Fling has been a college tradition for many years, bringing awareness to college clubs on campus and continuing to bring Cerro Coso students together with community members for free food, fun games, and great music,” said a spokesperson.

The event will include free burgers, hot dogs, cookies, chips and drinks.

The public is invited, and admission and parking are free. Cerro Coso’s Hunger Free program will collect nonperishable food items for the pantry.
