’Women in Philanthropy’ Christmas Tree Villages raises for Hospice House

’Women in Philanthropy’ Christmas Tree Villages raises for Hospice HouseShown are a few of the 36 trees and 12 wreaths displayed at the Second Annual Christmas Tree Villages, hosted by the Women in Philanthropy, which operates under the auspices of the Ridgecrest Regional Hospital Foundation. The event took place last month at SpringHill Suites. Auctions of trees and wreaths throughout the day raised some $6,800, which benefited the Hospice House campaign. “It was so much fun to see the community get involved this year,” said RRHF Executive Director Kim Metcalf. “We heard over and over again that ‘it feels just like Christmas.’ And that spirit, coupled with the tremendous generosity of our RRH employees and the local community, is why we did so well.” For more information about the foundation contact Metcalf at 760-499-3955 or kimberly.metcalf@rrh.org. — Courtesy photo
