Scott M. MayhughScott Matthew Mayhugh, 22, went home to be with our Lord and Savior on Nov. 30, 2019.

Scott was born Dec. 12, 1996, in Ridgecrest to Chad and Cindy Mayhugh. Scott was a beautiful person inside and out with a heart that was a rare find. He was truly one of a kind. His laugh could make anyone smile when they heard him.

He was generous and kind to those around him and will be greatly missed by his family, friends and dog Kush. Scott will be remembered for his big heart for his friends and family.

Scott was a hard worker and enjoyed working. He loved to master new things especially involving working with his hands. His past jobs included working for Modular Systems, Kern County Roads Department and city of Ridgecrest Parks and Recreation.

Scott is survived by his parent Chad and Cindy Mayhugh; brothers, Steven, Christopher and Liam; sister, Megan; grandparents, Roy and Bonnie Mayhugh and Jon and Sally Bumgardner; aunts and uncles, James Bumgardner, Jason and Erika Bumgardner, Mike and Celia Mayhugh and Becky Hall; nephew, Garret Mayhugh; many cousins ;and his beloved dog, Kush.

Scott is preceded in death by his great-grandfather, William Mayhugh; and great-grandmothers, Shirley Allred and Aurel Hays.

Scott will forever be missed and never forgotten. He is forever in our hearts and we will see him one day again.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, Jan. 4, at 10 a.m. at the H.K. Holland Memorial Chapel.
