Southern Sierra holds re-opening

Ridgecrest Regional Hospital’s Southern Sierra Medical Clinic held its grand re-opening at the new 105 E. Sydnor Ave. location on Oct. 9.

Administrator of Community Care Clinics Daphne Unhassobiscay gave remarks and fielded questions, while attendees were offered tours of the new clinic and an opportunity to speak with the SSMC doctors and staff.

“We are so grateful to have been able to share this moment with our patients and are thankful for the great turnout and support from the community,” said Unhassobiscay. “With the move into our new building and the recent arrival of two new family-practice physicians, the SSMC team is expanding in every way possible to meet the growing needs of our families.”

“We are so blessed to be able to continue to provide high-quality care to our patients in a brand-new facility and are excited for the future of family practice in Ridgecrest, with the addition of our two new physicians,” said Jesse Alande, clinic manager.

The new clinic boasts 27 patient exam rooms, two procedure rooms and eight physicians’ offices.

“This expansion will free up additional medical office space to allow RRH to bring in additional specialties for our community,” said RRH CEO Jim Suver.

SSCM services include routine examinations, camp and sport physicals, adolescent medicine, women’s wellness and weight loss and preventative plans

Providers include Hope Wildenberg, Love Singh, Gul Anwar, Paul Frenette and Jimena Repetto Frenette.
