Annual Petroglyph Festival seeks vendors

Annual Petroglyph Festival seeks vendorsThe Ridgecrest Area Convention and Visitors Bureau is seeking applications for those interested in participating as a vendor of the annual Petrogylph Festival, scheduled for Nov. 2-3.

The annual event celebrates the highest concentration of 10,000-year-old rock art in North America — located right in our own backyard. More than 100,000 petroglyphs can be found on the land ranges of China Lake. During the festival, expedited tours of Little Petroglyph Canyon are held in conjunction with the festival.

In addition to the tours and the street fair, the event typically includes educational events and activities at the Maturango Museum (which is also the coordinator of the tours).

More information regarding changes and additions to the festival will be released at a later date. Find the Petroglyph Festival on Facebook or check the festival website for more information.
