Wanda May Booker

Wanda rests peacefully while awaiting her Savior. On a quiet Sabbath afternoon Wanda passed with her husband Jerry at her side. She lived most of her adult life in Ridgecrest, where they raised their sons Terry and Keith. In late 2016, Keith moved Wanda and Jerry to Meridian, Idaho, to be closer to him and his family.

Wanda, the first child of Naomi and Russell Palmer, was born on Dec. 6, 1940 in Davenport, Iowa. She spent most of her childhood in Iowa and then moved to San Diego.

Wanda was survived by her husband Jerry, sons Terry and Keith, mother Naomi, sisters Linda and Rosland, brother Rusty, multiple grandchildren and four great-grand children.

A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, July 27,at 2:30 pm at the Meridian Seventh Day Adventist Church: 1855 N. Black Cat Rd., Meridian, Idaho 83646. In lieu of flowers, a contribution to any Seventh Day Adventist Worthy Student Fund may be made.
