Hallmark store returns to Ridgecrest

Hallmark store returns to RidgecrestCindy Parsons, owner of the Flower Shoppe at 229 W. Ridgecrest Blvd., has recently expanded her shop to include a Hallmark Gold Crown gift shop.

The Flower Shoppe has been serving Ridgecrest for more than 50 years at the same location. The last Hallmark Store in Ridgecrest closed in 2005.

“The Flower Shoppe teamed up with Hallmark Gold Crown so we could offer more options to the community — a one-stop shop for any occasion,” said Parsons. “And Hallmark offers a store-within-a-store. Now anything you purchase at the Flower Shoppe goes to your Gold Crown rewards.”

The Ridgecrest Chamber of Commerce will hold a ribbon cutting event at noon, June 27, with an open house for the remainder of the day. Samples of Hallmark’s dips, jellies, soups, chili, beef sticks, caramels and sourdough will be served. There will be raffles throughout the day with gifts for all who attend.

Also from July 13-21, the store will locally unveil items for Hallmark Keepsake’s Ornament Premiere Event.
