Ridgecrest Adventist Elementary School announces upgrade

Ridgecrest Adventist Elementary School announces upgradeRidgecrest Adventist Elementary School Principal Nancy Danelson celebrates the new name and upgraded facilities of the local private school, formerly known as Christian Adventist School. Sporting a new mascot (bobcat) and colors (yellow and orange), the newly named school still has the same purpose, said Office Secretary Dyan Frohlich. “We aim toward providing faith-based learning,” she said. “We teach all of our classes from a Christian standpoint,” said Danelson. “We teach our kids about self-respect, loving others and helping others throughout our curriculum.” Danelson added that maintaining a 10-to-1 student-to-teacher ratio ensures that students receive individualized attention. “I get to know the kids and their strengths and weaknesses. I can build up their weaknesses and play off their strengths to help them do much better.” For more information, contact 760-375-8673. — Photo by Laura Austin
