Hospital helps in Podell transition

Hospital helps in Podell transitionRIDGECREST REGIONAL HOSPITAL — RRH has announced that it plans to transition management of Podell Chiropractic, which had operated as the independent venture of Dr. Glenn Podell until his recent passing in November 2018.

“Dr. Podell provided valuable services to the hospital’s Rural Health Clinic,” said RRH President-CEO Jim Suver. “Both Dr. Podell and the hospital realized the value of chiropractic services as part of our pain management services.”

The clinic will continue to operate under its current name, offering massage therapy from the four existing massage therapists, with additional chiropractic support from Dr. David Ledesma.

“This is an exciting prospect for Ridgecrest Regional Hospital and we will endeavor to provide the quality chiropractic care that Dr. Podell has always offered the community,” said Suver.

The chiropractic clinic is located at 840 N. Norma St, and is open Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

It is now accepting new patients. For appointments, call 760-371-1300.
