Police made one arrest on Sunday, June 2, after contacting a suspect with multiple felony warrants for his arrest.

According to a release from the Ridgecrest Police Department, Reserve Officer Micah Lloyd observed the suspect, 24-year-old Ridgecrest resident Isaias Barragan, leaving a house in the 300 block of East Robertson Avenue around 2 a.m.

During a search, Lloyd reportedly found nearly 50 grams of methamphetamine on Barragan’s person. Barragan was arrested without further incident for possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of sales.

Barragan is being held on $95,000 bail. His pre-preliminary hearing and bail review are Tuesday, 10:30 a.m. in Ridgecrest.
