Many Chamber activities aheadThe Ridgecrest Chamber of Commerce kicked off the month helping celebrate the birth of our community’s oldest resident (see related story: news-ridgecrest.com/news/story.pl?id=0000010113) and welcoming its new executive director (related: news-ridgecrest.com/news/story.pl?id=0000010114), and will continue with installing its new president and boardmembers next week.

The annual installation and awards luncheon will be held Tuesday, June 11, at 11:30 a.m. at SpringHill Suites. Incoming chair Bernie Mondragon will officially take the helm, and six community members will be honored for their contributions and achievements.

The lunch of tri-tip, chicken, macaroni and cheese and dessert will be catered by Ephen Tacos. Cost is $30 per person. Reserved tables are available for $250 each.

Chamber activities continue Thursday, June 20, when the Ridgecrest Regional Hospital Outpatient Services hosts a Business After Hours event from 5:30-7 p.m. Visitors will be treated to refreshments, drawing prizes and an inside glimpse of the hospital.

The Leadership Ridgecrest graduation gala will be held Friday, June 21, at the Kerr McGee Center. Assemblyman Vince Fong will be the keynote speaker.

Reservations are required. Cost is $50 per person or $350 for a table of eight.

The Ridgecrest Young Professional Network will hold its monthly meeting at the Ridgecrest Cinemas from 5:30-7 p.m.

There is no cost, and anyone interested in networking opportunities is invited to attend.
