’Tis the season … for commencementAs of this week, graduation and promotion ceremonies are in full swing throughout the Indian Wells Valley.

This week, Immanuel Christian School promoted nine eighth-graders on Wednesday, and celebrated five graduates on Thursday.

Sierra Sands Unified School District Adult School graduated 20 in a ceremony Thursday evening.

James Monroe Middle School will promote 153 eighth-graders on Thursday, May 30, at 7:30 p.m. in the Kerr McGee Center. Murray Middle School will promote 217 eighth-graders immediately thereafter, at 10 a.m.

Mesquite High School will hold commencement ceremonies for 35 graduates on Thursday, May 30, at 6:30 p.m. at the school.

Burroughs High School will graduate 311 students on Friday, May 31, at 8 p.m. at the BHS Football Stadium.

On June 6, Ridgecrest Adventist Elementary School will hold promotion ceremonies for its three eighth-graders.

Ridgecrest Charter School did not provide information for promotion ceremonies by press time.
