Hodge awarded for 47 years at NAWCWDJesse “Jay” Hodge, a senior engineer at Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, celebrates 47 years of service during a March 1 flag raising ceremony at China Lake. Hodge began his career at the Naval Weapons Center working with a team that was just beginning to develop automatic and assisted target recognition for the Navy. He has been involved in automatic target recognition development at all levels of the organization, from the branch level to the Office of Naval Research. Hodge was also instrumental in the establishment of an in-house technical team, providing expertise in wideband radio frequency systems, advanced RF signal processing and machine intelligence.
