Bodnar advocates for those with Alzheimer'sSusan Bodnar, Ridgecrest Regional Hospital director of Senior Services met with House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (center) to advocate for those coping with Alzheimer’s disease. The man on the right is not identified. Bodnar attended the National Alzheimer’s Conference last week in Washington, D.C. Senior Services offers support to IWV citizens age 60 and older. Bodnar also serves as the Kern County Ambassador to the Alzheimer’s Association. She notes that in addition to her professional role, she is driven by her own personal losses of her grandmother, two aunts and her mother to Alzheimer’s disease. “Having the support of Ridgecrest Regional Hospital to advocate on behalf of my community and family has been such a blessing. I get to come to work every day in honor of my mother and the members of this community.
