Concert admission free to music students

Concert admission free to music studentsINDIAN WELLS VALLEY CONCERT ASSOCIATION — The IWVCA is pleased to offer free admission for all music students in the valley to our upcoming concert by the world-renowned Italian Saxophone Quartet.

“This will be the final U.S. appearance on a world tour that has seen them perform more than 140 concerts in countries like Lebanon, Spain, Germany, Bermuda and, finally, the U.S.,” said IWVCA President Julius Botelho. “Their performance for us will include music from a wide range of composers from Vivaldi and Bach to Joplin and Nagle and is sure to inspire you to even greater enjoyment of your own instrument.

“Let us know what instrument you are studying when you check in at the lobby for seat assignment. Then sit back and enjoy excellent music that you didn’t have to leave Ridgecrest to enjoy.”

The performance will be at 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 7, at the Burroughs High School Parker Performing Arts Center. Adults will also receive free admission if they are accompanied by a student musician.

“We hope you enjoy this wonderful afternoon of music and look forward to hearing you perform on our stage someday,” said Botelho. For more information see iwvca.com.
