Friends and family of Kristin Henden honor her memory

Friends and family of Kristin Henden honor her memoryFamily and friends of the late Kristin Henden celebrate her legacy with a donation to the Ridgecrest Regional Hospital Development Foundation’s Tree of Life. Henden, a 20-year employee at RRH, passed away last year. To honor her many years of dedicated service, RRH made a donation to the foundation in her memory. During the gathering, her friends shared many happy memories and stories of Kristin. Lori Ochoa, hired by Kristin as a nurse educator in 2002, recalled that Kristen was her biggest advocate, pushing her to be her best and believe in herself. Daphne Unhassobiscay, another nurse, reflected on Kristin’s compassion. One day, Kristin randomly showed up in Daphne’s office with the book “Hardwiring to Excellence,” which Kristin thought Daphne might benefit from as a new manager. “Kristin was generous, loving, open, compassionate and kind,” recalled friend and co-worker Tammy Khalifeh. “Kristin was very much loved and she will be greatly missed,” said an RRH spokesperson. Kristin’s husband, Anthony Hein, and mother, Jeanne Printy, were also at the dedication.
