Sharen ‘Nana’ Copeland

Sharen “Nana” Copeland, 55, of California City passed away early morning Saturday, Jan. 12, 2019, in her home.

She was born to Larry and Linda Martin on Sept. 23, 1963, in Trona.

Sharen was a woman with a giant heart who wanted to help anyone she crossed paths with. She was a homemaker in California City to her husband Bryan Copeland and together they adopted five young children, Ally, LaCole, Miles, Destiny and Maxi. There was never a dull moment in her life. She was always trying to get the family together, from planning birthday parties to trips to Disneyland for the whole family.

There was never a time that you couldn’t call her for some advice or help. She never hesitated to be there. She marched to the beat of her own drum and was one of a kind. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her father, Larry Martin; her husband of 29 years, Bryan Copeland; sons, James, Kenneth and Thomas Pease; and siblings Danny, Tammy and twin Karen.

Services will be held on Jan. 26 at the Trona Christian Fellowship Church, 83435 Trona CA 93562.

Sharen always had open arms, so this service will be open doors.
