Charlotte B. Carroll

Charlotte B. CarrollCharlotte Belle Carroll died Jan. 13, 2019, at her Ridgecrest residence. She was 88.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, Jan. 19, at 11 a.m. at Crossroads Community Church.

Mrs. Carroll was born June 29, 1940, in Santa Monica. A previous resident of Fresno, she had lived in Ridgecrest for 63 years. She was a cosmotologist for 50 years, 25 of which she spent as owner of Hairitage Salon, before she retired in 2008.

Charlotte was a faithful servant of the Lord. She was a member of Crossroads Community Church since 1993 and served as the church librarian for many years until she went home to her Savior.

Charlotte led a full and blessed life. She was a successful business owner and was the president of the Brookdale HOA in her later years. She was an avid golfer and esteemed painter in her own right, with pieces hanging for sale at local craft shows and at the Ridgecrest Regional Hospital. She loved to camp and fish and spend time outdoors. Charlotte loved her family and was very proud of all they had accomplished.

She is survived by her husband, Lemial Clay Carroll of Ridgecrest; daughter, Lisa Marie Carroll of Ridgecrest; sons, Robert Allen Carroll and wife Lisa Deann and James Anthony Carroll and wife Kelly Ayres, all of Ridgecrest; brother, Dan Jockisch of Washington; and sister-in-law, Ernestine (Carroll) Martin of Ridgecrest; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Jackie Jockisch; and sister, Sharon (Jockisch) Zabel of Montana.
