Barbara Larosche

Barbara LaroscheBarbara Larosche died Dec. 28, 2018, at her Ridgecrest residence. She was 79.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Jan. 5, at 1 p.m. at St. Ann Catholic Church.

Mrs. Larosche was born June 18, 1939, in Peoria, Ill. A resident of Ridgecrest since 1962, she was a retired operator and supervisor at Contel.

She loved the desert, mountains and ocean. She volunteered at Ridgecrest Regional Hospital as a Pink Lady for 34 years and also volunteered in local schools, with Girl Scouts and Confraternity of Christian Doctrine.

She loved bowling for 50 years and square dancing for more than 20 years. She was a member of the Elks RV Club, Inyokern Seniors and St. Ann.

She is survived by her husband, Ed Larosche of Ridgecrest; daughters, Tresa Shearer of Idaho and Kathryn Bengstson of Ridgecrest; son, Daniel Larosche of Ridgecrest; sister, Alma Holm of Hanna City, Ill.; brother, Milo Meeks of Wingo, Kan.; numerous cousins, nieces and in-laws; 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Florence Meeks, and her son, Edward Larosche Jr.

Donations may be made in her memory to the Pink Ladies of RRH.
