Three arrested on weapons charges

Ridgecrest Police Officers arrested three suspects for weapons violations on Monday, Dec. 3.

According to a press release from the Ridgecrest Police Department, officers responded to a residence in the 400 block of North Florence Street to conduct a probation compliance check of Tommy Sigala, 24.

Officers reportedly found Sigala, along with Craig Dixon, 37, and Carissa McFadden, 31, in possession of an illegal sawed-off shotgun, a .357 Magnum handgun, brass knuckles and “various rounds of ammunition.”

According to police, Dixon and Sigala, both with prior felony convictions, were arrested for possession of a firearm/ammunition by a felon.

Additionally, all three suspects were charged with possession of prohibited weapons (sawed-off shotgun, brass knuckles).

McFadden was released on bail, and Sigala and Dixon were booked in the Kern County Jail.
