Sliva awarded for 30 years at NAWCWDDiana Sliva, director of operations for the Weapons and Energetics Department at Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, is recognized for 30 years of service by Dan Carreño, Weapons and Energetics Department director, during a ceremony Oct. 3 at China Lake. “What a commitment!” Carreño said. “She gives us such great support because of the investments she’s made and because she goes above and beyond each and every day.” Sliva began her WD career as an administrative junior professional and went on to serve in key positions such as business financial manager, branch head and head of staff. Sliva’s wide range of project support spans from BLU-116 to Maverick and Hellfire missiles.
