‘Mutiny’ opens Nov. 9

‘Mutiny’ opens Nov. 9“Yo-ho! From Master Mystery Productions, in partnership with Ridgecrest Community Theater Troupe, comes our first ever family-friendly interactive mystery play — a swashbuckling high sea adventure titled ‘Mutiny on the Sea Witch,’ a pirate’s treasure mystery,” said Director-Playwright Daniel Stallings. The production opens Friday, Nov. 9, at 7:30 p.m. at Old Town Theater.

“Imaginative 10-year-old Suzie daydreams about adventure with her friends and spins them a colorful yarn about her ancestor, the legendary pirate, Cutlass Kate, fearsome captain of the Sea Witch,” said Stallings. “We are whisked to the coast of South Carolina in the 1700s to join Cutlass Kate and her crew on their pirate ship as they search for the fabled Loot of a Thousand Ports.

“However, trouble is brewing within the crew as whispers of mutiny start to grow. Can you figure out who is starting this mutiny and help the pirates find their treasure?”

The cast includes Evie Hoff, Janelle Jerome, Elspeth Pomazal, Devanne Fredette, Violette Hoff, Cosette Hoff, Jonathan Blair, Heather McGaha, Kenny Hoff and Janis Kunz.

Subsequent performances will be held Nov. 10, 16 and 17. Tickets are available at Red Rock Books for $20 general admission or $5 per kid 12 or younger. For more information or questions, visit Master Mystery Productions on Facebook or email mastermysteryproductions@hotmail.com.
