College announces closures for moving

College announces closures for movingCerro Coso Community College announced that several offices will be closed during the ongoing process of moving from temporary quarters back to the main campus.

“It has been three years since the college vacated the main building for construction, and the time has finally come to move back into the newly renovated and updated facility,” said a CCCC spokesperson.

Cerro Coso began the process of moving earlier this week.

By the end of this week, the college expects to complete moving offices for admissions and records, financial aid, access programs, counseling, assessment, high-tech, business, reception, president and administrative services.

On Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 22-23, the office for human resources will be closed.

The bookstore will be closed Wednesday, Oct. 31, though Friday, Nov. 2. The new bookstore will open for business Monday, Nov. 5.

“The move back into the original main building of the campus is both exciting and challenging and has been structured to minimize the impact on students and the community,” said the spokesperson.

“Please note slight delays may affect durations of office closure. Please call ahead to verify availability.”

“Your patience and understanding are very much appreciated during this process,” said College President Jill Board.
