Albert T. Horsfall

Albert T. HorsfallAlbert Thomas Horsfall (Tom), 80 years old, resident of Ridgecrest, passed away on August 3, 2018, at the Kindred Hospital in Ontario due to the progression of COPD.

Tom was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on Oct. 28, 1937. He attended Collinwood High School in Cleveland, OH and Long Beach City College in CA. Tom was a general contractor for over fifty years.

He had a passion for helping people and taught Do-It-Yourself Homeowner as Builder classes at Los Angeles City College. He was quite knowledgeable and astute which allowed him to accomplish the "impossible" successfully. He was a hard worker and built many beautiful homes and helped many homeowners.

He was busy, busy, busy right up to the very end. He had a soft spot for the underdog and offered help to make them successful. He had a love for animals, he often brought stray animals home and nursed them back from injuries. He was quite the traveler and took his children on many road trips allowing them to adopt a love for the outdoors and nature.

He is survived by his companion of more than 20 years, Patricia; five children, Tommy, Deborah, Albert, Danelle, and William; five grandchildren, Jonathan, Merinda, Kjerstin, Jennifer and Eric; brother, Curtis; and sister, Valerie.

He was predeceased by his father, Luther T Horsfall; mother, Emma Horsfall; sister, Sue; and son, Jimmy.
