Details were not available at press time, but the agenda includes a water allocation concepts presentation designed to address the basin’s reported annual deficit of 20,210 acre-feet of groundwater.

Groundwater balance issues will need to be addressed by a groundwater sustainability plan by summer 2020. Leading the plan development is Steve Johnson of Stetson Engineers, the water resource manager for the authority.
