"Hawaiian Soiree" event designed to support Internat’l Day

A Hawaiian Soiree will be held Saturday, June 30, at 6 p.m. in the patio room of the Homestead Restaurant. The event is a fundraiser for the International Community Day celebration, planned for Sept. 14.

“Everyone is invited to attend this fun experience,” said Matthew Alexander of the ICD committee. “Even a Haole will wish to celebrate and dress in honor of our tropical island state.”

The event will include Hawaiian food and drink, island dancing, games and the coronation of this year’s ICD Queen. Also planned are a group Hawaiian dance, the ICD Queen coronation, games and more.
