‘Night of Legends’ opens next week

‘Night of Legends’ opens next weekChristian Home Educators of Ridgecrest will present “A Night of Legends,” bringing to life the popular stories of Robin Hood and Zorro, on June 7-9 at the Cornerstone Bible Church, 443 W. Inyokern Rd.

Under the direction of Heather Weaver, CHER high schoolers, assisted by the middle schoolers, will perform the two lighthearted, family-friendly comedies.

“Robin Hood,” adapted by Tim Kelly, is being produced by special arrangement with Pioneer Drama Service. “Zorro” is an adaptation of the book by Johnston McCulley by Ridgecrest’s own budding playwright — and CHER graduate — Tabitha Weaver.

Snacks are available for purchase between the two productions to help raise funds for the drama program.

Showtime is at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, June 7 and 8, with a matinee at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 9.

Tickets are available for $10 general admission and $7 reduced at Red Rock Books, Common Ground Bookstore and the door.
