Frances F. Blowers

Frances F. BlowersFrances F. Blowers died May 22, 2018, in Ontario.

Fran was born Feb. 10, 1946, to Charles and Beatrice (Espinosa) Harvey in Downey.

She grew up in Riverside and moved to Ridgecrest in 1984 to join NAWCWD. During her 20-plus years there, she worked for the comptroller, TID and RDT&E as an accounting technician and then became an office manager. Fran had a way of making everyone feel special and valued, and she always looked out for all “her boys.”

Nothing was more treasured by Fran than her family. They were her heart and soul.

She is survived by her former husband George Blowers; daughters Stephanie Blowers, Dyana Blowers and Georgia (Brian Ayers) Blowers; grandchildren Ramiro (Jackie), Ricardo, Mario, Marissa, Jose, Miguel, Erick, Keven, Bryson, Ashley, Gerardo, David, Lenny, Layla and Lilianna; and great-grandchild Marisol. She is also survived by sisters Charlene (Dennis) Miller and Janis (Steve) Harrison, brother-in-law Ernie Paiz and many nieces and nephews and their families.

She was preceded in death by her mother, father and sister Anita L. Paiz.

Visitation will be held Friday, June 1, from 4-7 p.m. at the H.K. Holland Memorial Chapel. Rosary is at 5 p.m. Mass will be held Saturday, June 2, at 10 a.m. at Saint Ann’s Catholic Church. A reception will follow in the Parish Hall.

The family would like to thank all Fran’s caregivers during her illness. They were so open and caring and made her feel like their family.

Fran had a big, big heart and never did she turn away someone in need. She will be greatly missed by all who call her Mom, Grandma, Sister, Friend.
