Tiffaney Nicole FrodinTiffaney Frodin, beloved mother, daughter, sister, niece, cousin and friend, passed away at home on Thursday, March 29, 2018.

She was born Sept. 2, 1967, in Trona and grew up in Trona and Ridgecrest. She graduated from Burroughs High School in 1985 and married Clay Frodin in 1990. They lived in Ventura, several years before moving to the Antelope Valley and eventually back to Ridgecrest.

Tiffaney worked for Kern County Human Services at the time of her death. She helped many struggling families in her various positions there. Previously she had worked as a medical assistant for Dr. Joe Mallory.

She is survived by daughter Kodi Frodin, mother Jeanne Murrin, brother Darryn Sizemore, aunt Dorah Murrin, uncle Ted (Orrene) Murrin, yncle Randy Murrin, uncle David (Glenda) Sizemore, uncle John (Bonnie) Sizemore, aunt Ellen Sizemore, brother-in-law Cory (Colleen) Rung, nephews Chase and Hayden Rung, longtime best friends Denise Scott and Maurie Davidson and cousins too numerous to count, some of whom she met for the first time at a family reunion in Montana in 2015.

Tiffaney grew up with horses, riding with best friend Denise in the desert and in parades locally, and she passed that love on to her daughter, Kodi. Along with her parents, she was a member of Valley Riders as a youth and a member of Cerro Coso Pony Club with her daughter. She also loved the Broncos football team and rooted for them in a very big way.

Tiffaney was preceded in death by her father Dennis Sizemore, her husband Clay Frodin, her Uncle Philip Murrin and Aunt Janice Murrin, her maternal grandparents Phil and Dorothy Murrin and paternal grandparents, John and Kathleen Sizemore. A celebration of her life will be held on May 12, with the location to be announced in the near future.
