Priscilla ‘Cookie’ SchollPriscilla “Cookie” Scholl, age 80, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and dear friend to all, passed away peacefully March 12, 2018, in Ridgecrest.

Priscilla was born March 5, 1938, in Ontario. She grew up up on a dairy farm in Chino. She had five brothers and 12 sisters. In 1957 Priscilla graduated from Chino High School, where she met and married the love of her life and lifelong husband, Lawrence W. Scholl Jr.

In 1971 Priscilla, Larry and children relocated to Ridgecrest, where Priscilla, worked as a nurse’s assistant at the Ridgecrest Regional Hospital for 20 years. She retired in the early 1990s.

After retirement, Priscilla loved to travel around and enjoyed being able to spend all her free time with her family. She had a heart of gold and enjoyed helping others. Priscilla spent her remaining years being a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and devout Christian in her faith. She will be greatly missed and is greatly loved by all.

Priscilla was proceeded in death by her parents Adrian and Maria Cortez, husband Larry Scholl Jr. and nine sisters and 3 bothers. She is survived by her children, Deborah Brown, Lawrence Scholl III and Richard Scholl, five grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, two brothers and three sisters.

A viewing will be held from 5-8 p.m., Friday, March 23, at Holland & Lyons Mortuary. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 24, at the Bellevue Memorial Park, North Chapel, in Ontario.
