Susie Raglin, retiring director of Corporate Operations for the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, received the flag flown in recognition of her 34 years of service during a Jan. 19 ceremony at China Lake. Raglin’s official retirement date was Jan. 31.

She began her career as a member of the Engineering Department in support of the Sparrow Project Office. She went on to work in software engineering management before serving as a Weapons Target Department Software Process Improvement representative. In 1995 Raglin was selected as the deputy for test and evaluation for the Sidewinder Project Office just six years before she transitioned to the aircraft community as a manager for an F/A-18 C/D block upgrade. Following her role as a lead for Weapon Systems Support Activity, Raglin served as the division head for the Software/Systems Production Development and Integration Division until she moved into Corporate Operations five years ago.

“Thank you, everybody, for coming out and for everything you have done for me,” she said. “There are no words to describe the gratitude and humility that I feel.” Raglin was joined at the ceremony by family, friends, co-workers and NAWCWD Chief of Staff Melissa Finnell.
