Chamber society to host ‘Ensemble 4.1’The Ridgecrest Chamber Music Society will present piano quartet “Ensemble 4.1” on Monday, Jan. 29, at 7 p.m. in the Ridgecrest Presbyterian Church.

The quartet, featuring oboe, clarinet, bassoon, French horn and piano, will perform music by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (Quintet in E-Flat Major, K.452), Theodur Verhey (Quintet in E-Flat Major, Opus 20), and Walter Gieseking (Quintet in B-Flat Major).

The group appears by arrangement with Marianne Schmocker Artists, www.marianneschmocker artists.com.

Tickets ($25 general admission, $20 per senior and $5 per student and active-duty military) are at Red Rock Books, the Maturango Museum and the door.
