Looking for a gift for the book lover in your life?

The Friends of the Ridgecrest Branch Library will hold a special sale on vintage books and collecible treasures Saturday, Dec. 9, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 1301 N. Norma St. (across from Sunset Poke).

The sale includes Christmas décor, music, movies, gift books and more. “Most items have never been displayed before,” said a spokesperson. “Many books are vintage or collectible and the prices are 50 percent less than the researchers have found online.”

Antique teacups and saucers and several Dickens Village buildings and accessories are included in the sale along with a Fontanini Nativity collection. “These marvelous Fontanini figures are still crafted in Tuscany. They can be previewed on Amazon, and sale prices are guaranteed to be lower,” said the spokesperson.

“This is a great opportunity to get ready for Christmas and benefit the Ridgecrest Branch Library at the same time. Join us for a fun event and support the library.”
