‘Lois & Friends’ to hold sale this weekendThe “Lois & Friends Christmas Art Show and Sale” will be held Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 2-3, at Lois Hinman’s studio in Ridgecrest.

“Come see the fall collections from artists Lois Hinman, Kim Winchester, Jerry Bradley, Nicki Haven, Sally Adams and Mike Mumford,” invited a spokesperson.

“Visit with the artists, and take the opportunity to see this offering of a diverse array of unique art, just in time for your Christmas shopping.”

Representing a wide variety of media and styles, this group of artists comes together each year to show and sell their original, handmade, carefully crafted work.

“Each item to be shown is a creation designed and made by the artist — works inspired by the experiences and creativity of each individual.”

Hinman will show her distinctive functional pottery, as well as oil and acrylic paintings. Bradley will show his unique sculptural pieces. Winchester will display her wearable art, including necklaces, bracelets and earrings. Haven will have quits, wall-hangings, pillows and table-runners. Adams will show her metal art. Mumford will show hand-forged steel and shadow sculpture.

Admission is free. The studio is located at 2131 W. Las Flores Ave., and will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
