Greshem receives flag for 40 years of serviceIn honor of 40 years of combined active duty and civil service, Danny Gresham receives an American flag flown in his honor during a Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division flag-raising ceremony at China Lake on Oct. 26. Gresham joined NAWCWD after serving in the Navy as an aviation electronics technician. His service expanded from supporting AV-8B and the EP-3 integration facility to supporting the Joint Strike Fighter Air Systems group and establishing the Precision Attack Weapons Systems Technical Project Office. Gresham retired as the director of the Logistics and Industrial Operations Group. “Thank you all very much for coming,” he said. “There’s folks out here I’ve worked at the airfield with back in JSF days, the EP-3 days and there’s folks here I’ve worked in weapons programs with. I really enjoyed my last six years with the logistics group, so thank you all very much.” — U.S. Navy photo by Ron Rodriguez
