‘Men of Worth’ return to Ridgecrest

Celtic folk duo “Men of Worth” will return to Ridgecrest for a concert on Friday, Nov. 17, at 7 p.m. in the Kerr McGee Center.

Exiles James Keigher of Ireland and Donnie MacDonald of Scotland met in Southern California in 1986 and have been singing together ever since.

The popular performers of have developed an enthusiastic following in the Indian Wells Valley following their many performances here over the last two decades.

“They also host trips to both Ireland and Scotland,” said Larry Sawyer, who is helping promote the local appearance. “They are a lot of fun, and you can see your choices at the concert.”

Copies of their albums “Greatest Intentions” and “Leonora” will be available for purchase.

Tickets are $15 per person, available at Red Rock Books and at the door. Children 12 and younger will be admitted free, if accompanied by a parent.
